Besançon International Music Festival: a must-attend event for music lovers
A prestigious program in the heart of Besançon
For
ten days, the city of Besançon will come alive with the
sounds of symphonic,
chamber, and
vocal music, as well as
contemporary and world music.
It is an opportunity to discover both great repertoire masterpieces such as works by Brahms, Handel, Mozart, or Chopin and more modern offerings, like a
Balkan music concert or even a
street-art-inspired concert.
Concerts take place in venues accessible to everyone, such as the Place de la Révolution, the salons of the Prefecture, and the bandstand in Micaud Park.
